Kangdong Sacred Heart Hospital's LGBTQ+ Center held an information session on gender-affirming surgery and individualized consultations at Personal Health Clinic in Tokyo, Japan. Center Director Kuylhee Kim and Professor Prisca Nahyun Hwang introduced the integrated care process extending from preoperative assessment to postoperative management, and also discussed future plans for cooperation with Japanese medical professionals. The Center has recently expanded its international network, including signing a memorandum of understanding with IDATEN Clinic in Osaka, and is working to help Korea establish itself as an East Asian hub for gender-affirming healthcare.
