Professor Hyuncheol Jung of Urology at the Kangdong Sacred Heart Hospital LGBTQ+ Center delivered a video presentation on robot-assisted gender-affirming surgery for trans women during the Surgical Video Session at the First 2026 Symposium of the Korean Society of Urologic Surgery, held in Hyungok Hall on the sixth floor of Soonchunhyang University Cheonan Hospital on May 1–2, 2026.
The presentation shared the LGBTQ+ Center's clinical experience, focusing on actual techniques and anatomical approaches for minimally invasive gender-affirming surgery using the da Vinci robotic system, as well as functional and aesthetic outcomes.
